District adopts Boyce Cloud to streamline finance, payroll, HR, and employee workflows across 37+ schools.
MUNCIE, Indiana – April 28, 2026 – Boyce Systems today announced that the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC), the second-largest public school district in Indiana, has selected Boyce Cloud for Schools, including Employee Hub, to modernize and streamline its financial, payroll, human resources, and employee-facing workflows.
Serving more than 21,000 students across 37+ schools, EVSC operates one of the state’s largest and most complex public education systems. As expectations for real-time reporting, compliance, and transparency continue to rise, district leaders identified the need to move away from manual, paper-based processes and legacy systems that limited efficiency.
“Our systems had reached a point where workarounds and paper processes were slowing us down,” said Carl Underwood, Assistant Superintendent of Business Operations. "We needed a modern platform that could simplify workflows, strengthen compliance, and give our team and employees better access to accurate, timely information. Boyce Cloud and Employee Hub were designed with those needs in mind.”
Focused on Efficiency, Compliance, and Better Service
During the evaluation process, EVSC prioritized reducing duplicate data entry across finance, payroll, and HR; strengthening reporting and audit documentation; and aligning with Indiana State Board of Accounts (SBOA) requirements. Equally important was improving the employee experience through paperless, self-service workflows.
“With Employee Hub, we can move key HR processes out of filing cabinets and inboxes,” said Michelle Williams, PHR, Executive Director of Human Resources. “Electronic contract distribution and signatures, secure document access, and employee self-service will save time for our staff while improving transparency and service for employees.”
EVSC expects immediate improvements across payroll processing, HR and personnel tracking, budget monitoring, financial reporting, purchasing workflows, and employee-facing processes—along with long-term gains in efficiency and scalability.
“What stood out to EVSC -- and to many Indiana districts -- is that Boyce Cloud isn’t a generic ERP adapted for schools,” said Casey Stanley, President of Boyce Schools. “It’s a platform built specifically for Indiana school corporations, combining deep SBOA expertise with modern tools like Employee Hub that reduce paperwork, streamline contracts, and empower employees through self-service.”
Boyce Systems serves almost 65% of Indiana’s public school districts, providing Indiana-based support and school-focused ERP solutions.
