As we’ve reflected on Amplify LIVE 2026 over the past several weeks, one thing continues to stand out: The power of bringing Indiana school business leaders together.
This spring, nearly 200 school business professionals from more than 90 districts across Indiana gathered in Muncie for two days of conversation, collaboration, learning, and problem-solving centered around the future of school operations. That’s something we don’t take lightly.
School business offices are navigating enormous complexity right now -- tighter funding, staffing challenges,
One of the most valuable aspects of Amplify LIVE wasn’t simply the sessions or product discussions. It was the opportunity for peers from across Indiana to spend time together -- comparing approaches, sharing lessons learned, discussing challenges openly, and helping each other think through what’s next.
In many ways, that collaboration is one of the unique strengths of the Indiana K-12 community.
And honestly, seeing that many Indiana school business professionals gathered in one place reinforced something important to us at Boyce Systems: These relationships matter.
For decades, we’ve had the privilege of serving Indiana schools, and events like Amplify LIVE remind us that our
role is larger than software alone. It’s about helping create connections, sharing ideas, supporting operational excellence, and building a stronger community around the people doing this important work every day.
Another major theme throughout the event was the evolving role of technology in K-12 operations.
Cloud software, employee self-service, workflow automation, integrations, reporting, and AI are all reshaping expectations. But one message came through consistently during the conference: Technology is not the goal -- stewardship is.
The real opportunity is helping districts:
operate more efficiently
reduce administrative burden
improve visibility into information
better support employees
free up time and resources that ultimately support students
We were also grateful to have George Philhower join us as keynote speaker. His message around leadership, culture, communication, and human connection resonated deeply with attendees and sparked conversations that continued well beyond the session itself.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll share several additional posts expanding on topics and conversations from the event. To everyone who attended Amplify LIVE 2026 -- thank you for your partnership, engagement, and continued trust. We’re proud to serve Indiana schools and excited about what lies ahead.
